This particular chapter wants me to:
A. Make a plan for five things to do in order to increase my knowledge. Here is my list:
I actually have six on my list. Some I have been able to do in the week since I wrote this, some might take a bit longer.
- Attend the ProStart Culinary Educator’s Workshops both in Texas (June 29-July 1) and
Nationally (Hyde Park, NY. July 15-20).I got approved for the second one this week!!!
- Attend BlogHer Creators Conference (First or second week of August)
- Start school again. I love, love, love to learn but am not sure if I want to do it financially. Also, the time thing scares me. At the same point, in eight years I want to be teaching college and a higher education besides a bachelor’s degree is typically required. This is my holding point.
- Attend Texas Coffee School’s Barista 2-day class (June 14 & 15)

I’m still working on this one! Any suggestions?
C. Pick a Book from the List Given By the Author, Read, and Write a 250 word Book Report.
I am choosing Delights and Prejudices by James Beard first but plan to read the book after I finish Will Write for Food, so expect an update on this post soon!
