I love seeing old posts and I magically went from 103 posts to 234 because I imported all of my older stuff to the new blog; however, I do not have the same email address as I did back in 2010 so I am going to seep these in slowly over the next couple of months. Hope you enjoy this post from “baby” me!
Wow! I am so excited to be here. I hope I can relay a world of information to my readers. But first, who am I?
My name is Tiffany, I am 26 years old. People have said women should never give away their age but I don’t know that I will ever feel old. Anyways, I started out a daughter to a wonderful woman who helped me become a woman myself. As a young woman of nineteen I got married to a man who for the past eight years has been my rock. He will forever be my rock. I love him with all my heart. A year and seven months into our marriage we brought our first daughter into the world, her sister followed two year later. They are fiesty, funny and girly.
Ultimately they all lead me to where I sit right now. I was in college when I got married, but was really unsure of what to do with my life. Mr.B (my husband) on the otherhand, knew exactly what he wanted to do. So I dropped out, we moved and worked while he went to school. Even after he graduated I waited to go because I didn’t want to go to school with no direction. Until one day in early 2010 when we discussed what I liked and was good at, when we added on experience we decided food was a winner. So my original plan was to go to culinary school. But then I thought about how much I love being a mommy and wife and how much I enjoy children and crafts. So in August I started again as a freshman and am working toward my degree in Family and Consumer Science (formally Home Ec0nomics).
I am passionate about getting back to the basics of life while still mantaining the awesome technological stuff we have created. A happy balance is achievable. We just need to take a little old, and a little new (something borrowed, some thing blue… wait… we’re not talking weddings?). I will have many different catagories of stuff on this blog, from crafts with kids to why we should eat organically. Most of all, how to have a happy home.
