It did not take long during fall break for my girls to get bored. As many of you know, getting bored normally means fighting. On Wednesday, the fighting got pretty rough so I separated them and put them to work. Nevaeh got put in the kitchen making rolls for Thanksgiving. Rolls that I cannot wait to make again. The milk really added a touch of richness to the recipe.
We adapted it from Bobby Flay’s recipe, which I will leave a link to. The only thing we changed was we made twelve dinner roles and a loaf of bread.
Here’s what we did:
We warmed up milk and melted the butter into the pan. In the measuring cup we have yeast that has foamed from the hot water.
We didn’t read the recipe and mixed it with the mixer attachment and then used the knead attachment to knead them because… well, I’m lazy.
Once we did all of the rising, we put into rolls and bread.
Then we baked them into the delicous-ness that they were!
