Last year I debated about buying a planner. They were SOOOO cute. So cute, I knew I’d go broke quickly. So I swallowed my pride and chose not to spend thirty dollars on a planner I was afraid I would abandon in a few months for another “fun” thing.
As it is, I have a sewing machine, a serger, and an embroidery machine that does not get used as much as I would like.
My mother in law bough me an Erin Condren Planner when I graduated. I seriously love it and it is perfect for teaching, even has an area to do all of my lesson plans. That alone is golden.
Yet silently I wished for a happy planner as well. They are just adorable. So when Michaels had their sixty percent off sale, I sucked it up and bought one. Not just the planner though, I got the whole kit for thirteen dollars. WAY better than the thirty for just the planner.
So now I use my EC planner for teaching and my Happy Planner for my other business (aka, this blog). I plan to do some tutorials soon, including how I am creating cute stuff using my cricut expression. I’m eagerly anticipating a purchase of the explore or air but I have a feeling my expression might be able to do some cute stuff in the mean time.
Here was my first big project with the Happy Planner (HP):
Yesterday I purchased the pocket protectors just for the purpose of putting that picture in there. That picture was of hubs and me about a month after we started dating and three months before we got married. (Did you know that about him and me?!) I decorated the right pocket and Nevaeh did the left pocket. I can’t wait to make some more.
Happy Planning everyone!
