I made a goober of myself and left my computer charger at the school. If only I lived closer!
But what a week it was!
We got new goodies for the students and me. My one fashion student finished a messenger bad we had been working on for two weeks and the cooler weather was enjoyed when one of the food science students burnt the bacon.
We also made an easy, delicious green chicken salad in child development. The goal was to recreate something a pregnant woman should eat. This salad was filled with green- from the apples to the celery and the avocado!
Here’s the recipe: 1 mashed avocado, 1 cup shredded chicken, 1 apple (peeled, cored, and cut small), 2 celery stalks (cut up).
Mix, add to bread if desired, and enjoy!
