Meat, as you know, has never been my specialty. So I get excited when I (or my students) make a fabulous meat recipe.
Considering this recipe was created our first week back from summer break, I would say everyone won with these babies! The football gurus at the school got a good bite to eat during the game, my students chowed down, heck even the girls and I chowed down a bit.
Now that we are well into the swing of things I cannot wait to see what kind of… well, anything, we come up with next!
- 1 dz. chicken wings
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup light olive oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 3 tbsp. parsley
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper the wings. Bake at 350 degrees for about 22 minutes.
- While chicken is cooking, combine all other ingredients into pan and warm, once butter is melted (about three minutes).
- Drain liquid from pan and broil for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Once broiled, take out of oven. Add the sauce and the chicken to a container with a lid. Close up and shake what your momma gave you. 😉
