It’s fall and while some people are all for pumpkin spice everything I am a bigger fan of apple cider.
And when apples are in abundance, applesauce is one way to use it up. Plus you can can it!
So, here’s a great recipe… hope you enjoy.
It’s as simple as throwing four cut up and peeled apples, 1 cup apple cider, 2 tsp. lemon juice, 1/3 cup brown sugar and some cinnamon together and letting it cook for half an hour. Then blend and you get this:
