I know you have been sitting at your computer all day waiting for me to post…. Anyone, anyone?
Okay. Moving on.
Are you all ready for this week? Anything major going on?
Hmmmm… We are making cakes in Food Science to learn about pH levels, tortellini soup in nutrition (yes, we cook in nutrition!), and all kinds of goodies in culinary arts.
This is my first week I will be missing a day school. Makes me kind of sad but I am super excited to be heading to Austin. Mom and the girls are going sight seeing and I am going to stuff my face with food and mind with information to help me become a better food blogger! I cannot wait to share what I have learned.
First, coffee ice cream cake.
Now that we have made the ice cream, it’s time for part two.
You will need:
24 oreos, crushed
4 tbsp. butter
1. Mix Oreos and butter together to form dough. Spread onto spring foam pan, going up the sides. A pie pan works fine too.
2. Add in ice cream and let freeze for at least 30 minutes.
3. Cut and drizzle with toppings of choice. Enjoy!
